Panicked Countries Cut Off Food Exports
In the last year or so many counties have halted the normal export of food, usually grains and other commodities like sugar, buckwheat, flour, carrots, rice, seed oils etc.
Here is a list of major producing countries that have halted exports in the last year or so, some have resumed export, others have not.
Russia
China
Hungary
Argentina
Kazakhstan
India
Egypt
Serbia
The list goes on but you get the message, less food equals higher prices and less availability. I am urging all that read this to step up food purchases and storing as much as possible.
We have increased our grain storage and canned foods too, such as beans, vegetables and coconut milk. We also have packed our freezers with meat, butter, bacon and chicken. All of these items are starting to increase dramatically. In fact, just today I paid $3.79 for a tiny can of sweetened condensed milk!
Storing inexpensive items can keep you fed as this food crisis intensifies. We have many issues that are contributing to this chaos:
Virus work stoppages and shipping delays
Russia-Ukraine conflict
Weather issues in many countries
If you’re not sure what to store this comprehensive article can help you make wise decisions.
Please consider increasing your food storage NOW because food is rapidly increasing in price and its availability is unknown as our modern supply chain continues to erode.
